A collection of contemporary, meticulously crafted illustrations designed for Bettys' Christmas range. These concepts aim to place Bettys Craft Bakery at the heart of the collection, highlighting the craftsmanship, uniqueness, and artisanal qualities that define Bettys while infusing a sense of magic into the festive season.
The goal is to create contemporary, premium illustrations that offer a fresh interpretation of traditional folk art and heritage-inspired designs. These illustrations are intended to be versatile, adaptable across the entire range, and to bring a modern twist to classic holiday imagery.
This collection was developed as part of a pitch and has not been used by Bettys.
Concept
The illustrations aim to showcase the unique craftsmanship behind Bettys’ products by telling the story of baking ingredients, handcrafted tools, and the magic of Christmas, all bursting from Bettys Craft Bakery.
Adopting an organic, flowing illustrative style, the designs draw attention to the bakery’s sustainable and ethical production values. The illustrations maintain a contemporary Christmas folk aesthetic, featuring winter foliage, stars, ribbons, and garlands to evoke a magical, festive atmosphere.
A personal touch is added through hidden details, such as a Swiss bell and a Yorkshire rose, subtly nodding to Bettys' rich heritage.
