Commissioned by Google as one of six artists selected for the Rising Artist Series, contributing to the new collection of Chrome themes. This series is designed to resonate with the next generation of Chrome users worldwide, drawing inspiration from the four themes: Explore, Create, Find, and Connect.
Featuring bold, vibrant colours and intricate details, the designs invite users to discover playful and immersive worlds right on their Google Search page. Each illustration is crafted to inspire, spark curiosity, and offer a sense of hope, with thoughtfully chosen color palettes that evoke calmness and joy, enhancing the everyday browsing experience.
Adventurer
A solo adventurer sailing out into the bright and vast horizon. Symbolising hope, determination and the many opportunities that await to be discovered.
Flourish
A community building and growing together. Connecting, supporting each other and flourishing.

Sketch and Colour
The design process begins with hand-drawn sketches and concepts, which evolve into vector-coloured illustrations. Additional details are incorporated to bring life and intrigue to the designs. Colour is gradually layered, followed by shading and intricate detailing, to create a sense of depth, light, and vibrancy, making the designs truly stand out.
Colour palettes are carefully selected to align with the mood of each illustration. For instance, Adventurer captures a calming, hopeful atmosphere with a solo traveler embarking on a journey. The palette reflects this mood through warm, soothing hues of pinks, oranges, reds, and purples, evoking the serenity of a sunset.
Each design features a unique colour palette that complements its narrative, allowing viewers to connect with and select themes that resonate with the current season, weather, or their personal mood.
